Re: Joint Base Andrews 2022 Air & Space Expo

Had a wonderful time today at Andrews. All of the performers ranging from the USAF Thunderbirds to Rob Holland were spectacular. These are the following highlights from today's show. 1. Departure of Air Force One 2. B-1B Lancer 2-Ship Flyby 3. B-2 Spirit Flybys 4. WWII Bomber Flight [B-17 and B-25]...

Re: NAS Oceana Air Show 2022

Went down to Oceana for the practice show: the static display was dreadful, but what can you expect when you have to compete with Andrews for available assets? The flying was great though! Really cool to see the airborne change-of-command for VFC-12!

Re: Dover AFB Open House & Airshow/Thunder Over Dover 2022

Great job to the Dover team and Schultz air shows! My son was starting to have heat exhaustion on Saturday, so we got out of that heat before the Thunderbirds. Awesome to see pretty much everything that they promised actually show up though! Fantastic work! Here's a few of my feeble shots. Enjoy.

Re: Ellsworth Air and Space Show 2022

A comment about the show. I must say, I was disappointed in the lack of B-1 stuff. The 2 ship B-1 was cool, and so was the missed approach, but for it being their home show, AND being the 35th Anniversary of the B-1 at the base, AND the 75th anniversary of the USAF, I really expected more from the ...

So where is the Museum gate? I don't see it on the map... Anyone with experience know?

Hoping Mr. Schultz can answer; the site says DOD ID holders can enter through AMC Museum gate, but I don't see that on the map anywhere. Is that still an option?

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2022

Thanks Adam! That's very helpful info! It's good to know there are quite a few options out there. We plan to fly into London, spend a couple days there and then ride the train out to Abingdon/Swindon and rent a car once there. I'm not too confident on my first-ever right hand driving experience taki...
