Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

Is it just me or is this lineup becoming almost identical to 2022? Blues, EC C-17, Viper, Tora, potential Bayou F-15s. It's basically 2022's lineup minus the Sea Stallion and Vampire.

Looks like no more B-17 unfortunately. It's not on the website anymore

I'd say high. F-35 used flares last year.
Depends on weather. If it's low overcast it will be a low show

Re: Thunder Over Louisville 2024

I have to say given the original lineup that was posted on the news publication a month or so ago compared to where we are at now is looking very disappointing. I fully understand there could be flyover additions to the final schedule we see the week of the show, but no B-1, no F-35C demo or F-35 f...

Re: Thunder Over Louisville 2024

Thunder website mentions b-52 flyby, no B-1 anyone hearing anything as we are 2 weeks away? From what I have been told the B-1, MV-22 and Coast Guard demos all canceled. Osprey I knew would for obvious reasons. No chance they could get that demo certified in time. UPS is using the 747-8 which I am ...

Re: 2024 A-10 Thunderbolt II Demo Team Schedule

I've just got one A-10 show on my schedule this season, that being Cleveland. Good thing about that show though is that it lasts three days instead of the normal two. I'll definitely be attending all three this year as I hope they fly both the Black Mamba and Memphis Belle II that weekend. Thinking ...

Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

Like I said earlier in the thread, I've been to a few airshows in Dayton - including the monster they had in 2003. I wouldn't expect them to come anywhere near what they had in '03 in terms of numbers of jet teams, jet demos, acts, warbirds, etc. but I will say this - the lineup as it is now is pre...

Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

Guys I know it’s hard to hear but the days of old are gone. There is very little variety now as it is. With either people retiring, leaving the industry, or the unfortunate nature of the business, with very little new acts appearing yearly , there is very little variety out there anymore. It’s a bi...
