Questions About Pier Seating (Pacific Airshow)

Hello everyone, This October, I am planning to attend the Pacific Airshow as I have done the past 3 years. Do you guys think the pier seating (which is 20 dollars more) is worth it? I feel like the pier won't be as great as the website advertises it and most of the aircraft would be further then ant...

Lake Isabella/Sidewinder

Hello everyone, I've recently been exploring the Sidewinder route more and more but its secrets still remain hidden. I've commented in a forum regarding the Jedi Transition but didn't receive much information. Anyways, let me get to the point. Does anyone know where aircraft fly through near Lake Is...

Re: 2022 Aviation Nation

Hello,

I am hoping to go to Aviation Nation this year. However, since I am pretty far from Nellis, I would save this trip for something "big". Apart from the demo teams and the Thunderbirds, are there are other Nellis aircraft that perform? Thanks

After doing some research, it turns out this was just for a Dassault photoshoot and the military doesn't use the canyon for low flying anymore :(

Question about Jedi Transition/Sidewinder

Hello, I'm generally new to "wild" spotting and I recently discovered this "Jedi Transition" route near where I live. However, it is a bit far (2 hours+) and I would like to know a place on this route that generally has a lot of traffic (3-5+ flights). If anyone has information o...

Re: USAF Heritage Flight Flyover-Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles

Hello, does anyone know good spotting locations for this event? I'm trying to catch these birds flying out of Los Alamitos on the 12th or 10th. Thanks!

Edit: If anyone has the time (or estimate) of their departure, it would be great.

Re: Help required Husband 40th birthday surprise

If your husband really likes warbirds, I recommend checking out the Planes of Fame Airshow. However if he likes jets I recommend going to places like Nellis AFB for their Airshow as it’s also the Air Forces 75th anniversary.
