Re: Selfridge Air National Guard Base Open House & Airshow

Now that shows are cancelled through the end of May, do we think this show will be next? If it was up to me, I'd wait a month to see how the situation is going to make a decision. I think cancelling the show in the middle of March for a show in June is just a little too soon imo. Thoughts?

Re: 2020 RCAF Snowbirds Schedule

Will Selfridge be the first show since the mishap a few months back? Really hoping to see them this year.

Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2020

Check your emails if you're thinking about early tickets - it looks like today is the buy one, get one offer for tickets. Kind of surprised they're doing that without a teaser of the theme, but it's a good deal. I signed up but haven't got any emails. Do you have a link or something...? It was unde...

Re: Wings Over Northern Michigan 2019

I seriously question the explanation given. "The show is TOO GOOD and always makes the money back, so we're shutting it down." What? If the show makes the money back and brings in that many visitors to the area, it should be a no brainer to continue it. It should not be impossible to run a smaller ...

Re: Wings Over Northern Michigan 2019

Some sad news out of their Facebook today. The 2019 event was their last, and will not return for 2020. Per Facebook, Wings Over Northern Michigan Airshow will not fly in 2020. By any matrix the Airshow which just completed its 10th successful year wanted to end on top! This was solidified with the ...

Re: Lens Upgrades

The 75-300 is the standard starter lens for just about everyone, and the next step up is usually one of these: Sigma 100-400 Tamron 100-400 Sigma 150-600 (two versions of this) Tamron 150-600 Sigma 60-600 Canon 100-400L Canon 100-400L Mk II With lenses, you get what you pay for in terms of quality....

Lens Upgrades

Hey all!

I have the Canon EOS T-6 Rebel camera and I am looking to upgrade to a more powerful and more "zoom" lens. I have the 75-300mm lens but want something a little bit better with the zoom. Any ideas?

Thanks, Alex
