Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

No F-35C for Dayton either. Show looks very, very unimpressive for a 50th anniversary.

Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

Thanks for the reply. I kind of thought from looking at the grounds map that might be the case, but it's always better to hear from people who have been there. My interest this year was due to the anniversary - figured if there was ever a year to go, this might be the one to pick. Whether I go or n...

Re: 2024 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

What's the general admission experience like at this show? The impression I've gotten is that there aren't many opportunities to sit along the show line and get close to the action. Is that the case? This is one of few shows within a reasonable drive I haven't been to yet. I was thinking about chec...

Re: Fort Wayne Air Show 2022

Anyone know if the T-birds are staying in Indy and for the ft Waye show instead of going back to Nellis? I am wondering if they will be practicing Friday. I don't have the answer to your question on the possible return to Nellis before the show. However, they will be practicing Friday. The norm for...

I wouldn't be concerned at this point since the show does not happen until October. Most of the "news" coming out about shows are ones occurring over in the somewhat near future (May-July).

Re: MCAS Cherry Point Airshow 2021

LMAO, third time's the charm. Day one was fantastic. Pretty much everything went on without a hitch. The J-3 was flown by RJ Gritter; didn't realize he had a comedy routine. The MAGTF pyro stopped about half way through, so no Wall of Fire. Still cool to see the F-35 do some ACM. Blue Angel 6 (btw,...

Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2021

Road closures are tied to the TFR so 10am should be the first closure. You can always take US12 around to the west side of the airport instead and avoid the closure. Hey Ryan - Do you know if this grassy area off Tyler Road will be open or closed for show day on Saturday? My plans fell through to a...

Well that’s concerning. I was planning on Ecourse for tomorrow. Driving up from Ohio tonight.

Re: Thunder Over Michigan 2021

The teams typically practice at the same time they will fly, so I expect the A-10 and Blues to fly in the morning and the F-35 and Tbirds to fly in the afternoon. The afternoon session is longer so other stuff like the Growlers and A400 may practice then (if they practice). I plan on going to the g...

VFA-106 is performing the Super Hornet demo at Oceana this year, so I guess the short answer would be no.
