Re: Pistons and Props 2024
I think this will probably be similar to the Janesville Warbird Weekend that was held from 2016-21 only with cars involved. The old social media pages for that event don't appear to exist anymore. Maybe Bessie's Diner is involved in some way. I think they have hosted a fly-in the last couple years.

Re: Possible Participation By European Teams In 2024
I'm holding out hope for the Red Arrows appearance. I really enjoyed their performance in Chicago last time they came to North America and would make seeing them again a priority. I doubt I will get to see the Frecce Tricolori unfortunately, unless they add something to that open August 17-18 weeken...

Re: Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival 2024
I'm assuming the Erickson aircraft will be the P-38 that is coming to Thunder a couple weeks later. I noticed it will also be at Duluth. Strong lineup so far! This will be part of our July 4 weekend plans.

Re: Skydrive 2024 (Airshow London)
Well, I took the leap and decided to get tickets for the first time. Not normally a fan of drive-ins, but I'm going to go in with an open mind. This is the best fit for me to potentially see a big show for RCAF 100. Hoping the Red Arrows rumors come through and if not, it will still be my first time...

Re: Wings Over Muskegon Air Show 2024
A-10 demo and Randy Ball MiG-17 scheduled to be there. I'm planning to attend. Going up to visit extended family for the Muskegon shows was a big part of my childhood and this will be a fun trip down memory lane.

Re: Wings By the Wabash 2024
A-10 demo is a nice get for this show. Hoping for a good crowd to support the airport as they are rebuilding after taking a direct hit from a tornado last spring. Also part of the lineup: Susan Dacy - Super Stearman Mike Vaknin - Extra 300 Bob Richards - Machaira Erik Edgren - T-Clips Comedy and Aer...

Some preliminary info. Looks like it may just be a static event.

Glad the paint schemes are basically the same. One of the best schemes on the airshow circuit!

Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour Permanently Grounded
Official news released by Collings Foundation in their newsletter. The Wings of Freedom Tour is permanently grounded and all of the aircraft will eventually be displayed at the American Heritage Museum in Stow, Massachusetts. I had a feeling it would probably come to this, but the finality of the ne...
