Re: Canadian International Air Show (CIAS 21)

Beautiful weather today for the practice show. Missing were Quicksilver, PBY and the Griffon. CWH posted that Quicksilver was on their ramp clearing customs. CF18 theme jet is still down for maintenance, so it will be a regular jet this weekend. Overall, it was a great day at Marilyn Bell park, kudo...

Re: Sky Drive 2021 (presented by Airshow London)

Was thinking of selling our tickets for Saturday due to the weak lineup. Ended up going and really enjoyed the F18 demos and Blue Angels. The snowbirds are so skilled but need modern aircraft to bring a little more excitement to the show IMO. While we enjoyed the drive in format, we felt the view w...

Re: Canadian International Air Show (CIAS 21)

Hello, I know this year is different, but how was the viewing in the past? They say there's 14km of waterfront to watch from, but can you really see from all 14km? How many people normally attend? And if you were driving, how bad is the traffic? First time going to this Airshow. Thanks for any info...

Re: Sky Drive 2021 (presented by Airshow London)

I saw ASL posted notifications about Thursday practice, will there by any activity tomorrow other than the evening show? Thanks everybody for any info. There will be a practice from noon to 5pm (including the Blues at 3:30 which people can see if they get there early - gates open at 3) The Northern...

Re: Sky Drive 2021 (presented by Airshow London)

Any news on a replacement for the F-16 demo or more jets for Saturday? Has anybody heard if they have a replacement pilot? ASL still shows Viper on the performers list and the ACC consolidated schedule, which was updated today, still lists the F16 appearing at London. https://www.acc.af.mil/Home/Ae...

Re: 2021 USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Schedule

I would love to see these guys return to Airshow London this year. Always an entertaining demo and probably my only chance to see the new colours.

Re: Airshow London 2020 (Now "Sky Drive" Presented by ASL)

It looks like no USAF pilots or support personnel will be based out of London, despite what was reported by the CBC. I wonder if they will use Selfridge and/or Niagara Falls? https://twitter.com/AirshowLondon/status/1298588705133924353 "Hello, All teams coming to London are quarantined, as they...

Re: Canadian International Air Show 2020

CNE has been cancelled for the first time since the Second World War due to COVID-19. I don't think we'll see Brantford or London shows this year, even though no official announcements have been made.
