Any day with multiple Skyraiders is a good day. Thought the Skyraiders were the highlight of the show. It' a nice small show with always a solid Warbird representation. In the past, they had F-18s (US & Canadian) including Super Hornets, but I think locals complained about evacuating their home...

Is there a water portion to the show that starts first or it's combined?

The city's website is usually accurate. The F-18 is not a demo, but may fly by a few times. If there's one at Gary, then it's likely.
The military demo teams have tapered off considerably. Chi used to bring in the heavy metal consistently. I'm sure the F-35 will also do some fly bys.
