Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2022

Right! Just saw that, must've just been confirmed recently because I checked Dreamland resort last week and it was still "unconfirmed".

I'm thinking Artemis is the new Canadian built UAV?

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2022

STATIC ALERT: French Air Force A330MRTT added. A massive addition to the lineup. Hopefully it's dragging something with it. One could hope I guess. Awesome! I'm guessing the August edition of Red Flag got announced and Abby will maybe catch some European types before they head home. Fingers crossed

Wow, are you serious? There's a gap in their schedule but haven't heard anything concrete yet.

That'd be unreal!

Definitely NOT a first. But I agree it would be awesome if more Red Zone tickets were available.

Re: Airshow 50 - Now Skyfest 50

Still time to add some more attractions but agreed, disappointed.

As far as the Snowbirds and CF-18 go there have been several instances of them showing up and doing "non aerobatic" shows of sorts. If the lack of an approved aerobatic box is indeed the issue. Who knows

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2022

US Navy F-35C demo team could cover that base. Or one of the KLU Dutch F-35's that are still around in California.

Soon we're gonna be sick of the "Battle Penguin" since so many NATO countries are buying them.

Re: Sky Drive 2021 (presented by Airshow London)

Can any show in Canada have a GOOD weather forecast??

This is ridiculous. Hopefully it stays relatively dry.

Re: Sky Drive 2021 (presented by Airshow London)

High risk high reward way to run an Airshow for sure. Military will always just pull your performers/statics with zero notice.. Especially flybys and non-official demo teams. Still should be a great show. I've wondered why since there's the T33 Red Knight based in London, the ITPS, Waterloo warbirds...
