Re: Yuma Airshow 2019

This was my 3rd trip to Yuma, and it was just as good as always. I am really glad I didn't spend the extra $$ for the photo pit. While I appreciate the effort they put in including a photo pit for the first time, I was worried it wouldn't be that great, and stuck with the $15 bleacher tickets..well ...

Re: Wings Over Whiteman 2019

They almost always have a four ship fly-by of the local T-38s, the 442nd A-10s four ship airfield attack demo and of course the B-2. I haven seen any of these listed, as their Facebook page, nor their website have hardly anything listed. As this is the closest AFB to me, I will for sure be going. Da...

Re: Thunder Over Louisville 2019

Looks like the old days of TOL from that line up! I'll have to keep an eye out on this one, and hope the weather finally might be good for this show. It's been way too long since I've gone to this.

Re: Fort Wayne Airshow 2019

Thanks for all the info guys. Now that I'm thinking about this show, I have a couple more questions... Is there quite a bit of open flight line so set up my chair and get good shots, or are the chalets blocking the majority of the flightline, along with the reserved seating? Also, if by chance I can...

Re: BREAKING: Capt. Kotnik, first Female F-16 Viper Demo Team Commander Relieved of Position

Very disappointing to hear this for sure. To the point that this announcement was anything different that normal for the modern day USAF, just look when the Team Lead of Thunderbirds was dismissed in 2017, for lack of confidence as well, no difference between the two announcements.

Re: Fort Wayne Airshow 2019

Do the Blacksnake A-10s put on a performance at this show, and if I'm not mistaken, isn't Dean's F-100 based here as well? I know it takes a ton of work to maintain that bird, is there a good chance he'll fly it here? Those two would be enough to make the long drive. Thanks.

Re: Spirit of St Louis Airshow 2019

Well, the picture they have with that teaser is a cockpit photo of the T-X, so could be maybe they are flying the T-X there also? But yeah, on the same day as the Red Arrow announcement. Glad to hear either way.

Re: Yuma Airshow 2019

Take this for what it's worth, but they had the same restrictions with the clear bags last year. I went out and bought a clear bag to replace my camera bag. I helped an older gentleman that was riding on the tram from the VIP parking area, unload his big ass wagon and huge camera bags. He knew nothi...

Re: Yuma Airshow 2019

I've been a couple times, and I love it. Last year they offered bleacher seats, if I remember correctly they were only about $10, well worth it. They weren't very crowded at all. They usually give the option for VIP parking, which I did last year as well. It was quick getting in and out. They show i...
