Instead of a number, it has the Air Force logo on the fuselage. Not sure what the story is, maybe one of the reserve jets? These were all taken at the MCAS Beaufort Air Show this year.
It's a zombie F-16 painted in their Thunderbird colors. The wings come off and the tail folds into the fuselage so that they can trailer it from show to show. It was a real F-16 at one point though

Thanks for joining us and sharing some shots!
Thank you! I was 10 years active duty and have seen the Thunderbirds 10 or more times. They always put on a great show.

Just found this board yesterday, my first post here.

Some shots from the Gulf Coast Salute April 2015 at Tyndall AFB, Florida. I live in Panama City, so it's not to hard to justify trudging the 15 miles or so to the show.

It rained on and off the whole day on Saturday, many of the performers were unable to fly due to weather. A few got in during breaks in the weather. The clouds broke just before the T'birds came out on Saturday, so the tarmac was wet as they spooled up. First shot is a little tornado of water being sucked off the concrete by the intake vacuum.

Heat haze behind a ground crewman

And heat haze against the trees on #6's takeoff

One more heat haze, the afterburner turn

A fairly nice solos crossing shot

Lastly, the Thunderbirds photographer. I asked him if they let him keep the gear after his tour; he grinned and made a funny sound that might have been a word. He's carrying a D3s with the 600mm f:4

I only got to see the TBirds at one show last year, but I got insanely lucky and made the most of it.
