2017 US Navy Hornet Tac Demo Schedule

The Navy has released the schedule for the Hornet Tac Demos. Both VFA-106 "Gladiators" (VA Beach, VA) and VFA-122 "Flying Eagles" (NAS Lemoore, CA) are doing demos again...

For those of us who aren't literate in the unit designations, which schedule is Hornet and which is Super Hornet?

If it's VFA-122 it'll be the Super Hornet Only.
If it's VFA-106 it'll either be Legacy Hornet or the Super Hornet.

To add to what Nate said, they haven't specified which show is which aircraft yet. VFA-122 flies E and F model demos (I believe) and VFA-106 flies C and F model demos.

I've filled in a few of the known Hornet/Super Hornet shows on our blog post. If anyone finds any more out (the individual shows will likely announce them) please let me know!

Not much info yet, I'm pretty sure that Lousiville will have the legacy hornet. Also, the Lake City Air Show is cancelled.

I don't remember seeing that Lake City news. Do you have a link?

On the event's Facebook page, it says "event postponed." Also, milavia.net shows the air show as cancelled, reliable website. Here's the link:

F/A-18C Hornet demos (only flown by VFA-106 from NAS Oceana) will feature this cool VFA-15 commemorative paint scheme! Thanks to Shawn Yost for sending this in!
