Fat Albert will not be with the team to start the season, and might not be performing until May. Bert is still undergoing depot level maintenance in Utah.

The Blue Angels have announced that their open date on the 4th of July weekend will be filled with an appearance at the New York Airshow, held at Stewart International Airport. I have updated the original post and the blog post to reflect this.

I'm disappointed they won't be performing in Battle Creek that weekend instead!

Fat Albert is ready to return to the team and should be flying in airshows once more, after a few weeks of training!

Just seen C-130s are reportedly grounded on the AirshowStuff FB page. So with Fat Albert and the usual replacement aircraft out-of-action, what will the Blues use as their support plane, and will it have an impact on their schedule over the coming weeks?
