Thanks Ricky, I've updated the original post to reflect the new show list.

Fingers crossed for that 'TBA' date in the middle of AirVenture!

The team has canceled their three upcoming appearances due to a speculated safety stand down:

Having watched them perform several times I can say that their performance at Wings over Gatineau (pretty sure that's their first performance this year) wasn't as precise as in other years. Timing on cross overs in particular seemed off. Some of that could however be weather too. I have no idea what it's like trying to perform with rain hitting the windshield.

Very Professional call by the team. With the weather being so terrible on Vancouver Island during their training season I'm sure they missed quite a few sorties. And considering what happened to 4 other major teams last year, better safe than sorry.

Absolutely better safe than sorry. No use risking an accident which could be a far worse fate than missing some shows.

The team has also canceled Windsor, Whiteman ( not Wings Over Whiteman), and Duluth. I have updated our blog post with the full info.

I agree, this was certainly not done lightly and the fact that they are taking so long indicates this was a major problem. Good on them for making the tough but correct call.

Last couple of shows I've been to have only featured 8 planes for the duration of the weekend. Is there a pilot on leave or being replaced?
