Thank you for sharing the information and video of the Snowbirds.
My father was Air-force, aeromechanic, so I grow seeing Airshows.
When my dad left the Air-force, we still went to shows.
My first husband became Army, again went to Airshows every year, some twice...
After my divorced, I went with my father again, he missed it...
Then he got very ill and could not go, he passed away last May...
Sept. 7th I was coming out of corner store and jumped at the sound of Jets
I stood there waiting, again they went by, I whispered to myself
"OMGosh, Dad, it's the Snowbirds ! ?" and started crying...
When I got home, I looked them up for any airshows here, found them
the times said 14:00 to Midnight
So that Sat. a friend took me out but we got stuck in traffic and saw most of the show from in the van...Lol
The Sun. my eldest daughter brought, her husband, 2 daughters, my youngest and myself to the show...
We were on Fort Henry Hill, a little far but we saw the show,
I saw the Snowbirds and thought of my Father, with a smile on my face, knowing he was riding along with them...
There was another Jet, a Hornet I think, it came in above us, I told everyone to cover their ear...just in time
I forgot the, the excitement, the sight and the feel of watching them fly, I hope to go every year from now on...
