Really? I found 2016 was a solid show, but pretty repetitive. I mean, more than half of those 15 fast jets were one of two types... Had the weather played ball, last year would have been considerably better.

Good to see the static list bulking up at last with some quality items.

Finnish F-18 flying, Meteor and Hunter static. Plus a load of static ultralights and trainers. Not a bad update by any means, the Finnish Hornet puts on a great display.

RAF Typhoon self-confirmed. No surprises there of course.

Frecce Tricolori self-confirmed. Probably one of the last chances to see them in the UK on the MB-339 - although we've all been saying that for a few years now!

It has been suggested online that the Indian Air Force are considering displaying their newly-restored Dakota at either RIAT or Flying Legends. Not wanting to sound disrespectful as it would be nice to see, but I'd rather it goes to Legends or is static only.

As in they're getting new jets or the team would be done?

They announced a few years ago (2013?) that they would be switching to the newer Alenia Aermacchi M-345 aircraft, though as mentioned above the change has yet to occur.
