We just announced that we'll be running for a full SEVEN DAYS in 2018 with the dates being June 28th - July 4th.

Of those seven days, we also announced that FOUR of them will be air show days. June 30th, July 1st, July 3rd and July 4th.

While we're still building our schedule, the June 30th & July 1st show dates will feature mostly warbirds. It will be a Warbird Salute Air Show dedicated to our Veterans and Active Military. While we aren't ready to dive in to the lineup quite yet, our headliner for the warbird show is an act never before seen in the Midwest and features extremely rare flying examples.

July 3rd & 4th will be an air show featuring Top-Notch Civilian Aerobatics (and trust me when I say that. Who we have booked thus far is awesome), Modern Military and some more warbirds!

All in all, we are looking forward to a terrific 2018. More surprises and announcements are in store. Will be updating as we announce, but most of our air show announcements won't come until after the ICAS Convention.

That's a heck of a teaser. I'm intrigued by the warbird announcement since that's overwhelmingly my primary airshow interest.

I don't think I've been to Battle Creek since sometime in the 2010-11 range. The weekend lineup may change that this year.

Thanks for the updates.

Looks like Randy Ball and Jerry Conley are heading to Michigan!! My guess for the “never before seen act” would be the Texas Flying Legends Museum group act

They've performed in Oshkosh before and if Wisconsin isn't Midwest I don't know what is :D

Believe it or not, while our weekend show will be primarily warbirds, a few warbirds that aren't performing during the weekend airshow will also take part in our midweek air show (we had approached them to do the weekend, but they couldn't, so we pursued them for the midweek anyway). So it'll be a well rounded lineup across the board this year.

We definitely count Wisconsin as the Midwest ;)

At this time, yes we have agreements with both Randy Ball & Jerry Conley (it will be awhile before we announce the acts because we have a very specific announcement schedule in place for this year). Jerry will be performing during the weekend air show (June 30 - July 1), and Randy Ball will be flying July 3-4. We had wanted him for both shows, but due to the show he is a part of down in Cedar Creek Lake in Texas, he could not do the weekend show. We did pursue him for the midweek show and he is planning to be here in the MiG-17F.

It is not the Texas Flying Legends Museum group act, but a collection in Texas will be sending a plane to be a part of the act in question!

I think I know what the act is based on that clue, but I'll let you make that announcement instead of playing guessing games. If it is what I think it is, I'm probably going to have to make plans to spend a day at this show. Whatever Jerry Conley is flying would be cool to see. I saw that he may be flying a Sea Vixen at some shows this year.

Thanks again for the updates. Do the aircraft use the WMU ramp or are they typically parked across the field on the Air National Guard ramp? I think the aircraft used the ANG ramp last time I attended, but it has been a while.

We hope to make an announcement regarding that act in early December. You're probably right on it though.

Right now, Jerry will be flying the Vampire. The Sea Venom will be West Coast only. They're also unsure if the Venom will be ready in time for Battle Creek. So, the Vampire is planned at the moment.

The military stage over at WMU's ramp as well as whatever is flying the Heritage Flight. The rest of the acts stage on RWY 13/31 in front of the crowd. The ANG ramp is no longer in use due to the 110th no longer having a flying mission.

With the schedules being officially announced today, we can say we do have the following acts:

-US Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II Demo Team (June 30, July 1, July 3, July 4)
-US Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey Demo (June 30, July 1, July 3, July 4)
-Vampire Airshows featuring Jerry Conley in the de Havilland DH-115 Vampire (June 30, July 1)
-Randy Ball FIGHTERJETS MiG-17 (July 3, July 4)
-Susan Dacy in the Super Stearman "BIG RED" (June 30, July 1)
-Announcer: Phil Dacy (June 30, July 1, July 3, July 4)

We won't announce these on social media yet as we have a specific plan in place, but these schedules are already out and common knowledge with you all so I'll include them here :). Tons of more fun to come!

Wow, an Osprey demo! Will be nice to see the A-10 demo back as well. Great start to both the weekend and midweek shows.
