Your view would be pretty well blocked by the trees there anyway. Prevailing winds are out of the SW so usually traffic is on 28R so you want to be at the east end of KIAG for arrivals. Walmore Road is an option but at some point the police will boot you. Niagara is tough for spotting without Walmore Road. My suggestion is the Inducon Industrial Park east of the field on the north side of the centerline of 28R. Never been hassled back there but you will be north of the runway so aircraft will be backlit.
On Google maps, there is a road "Haseley Dr" (to the west of the base/airport) that ends at a circle featuring an airplane carcass. I know nothing about this road. Might be worth checking out. Or maybe someone here has further info(?).

Unfortunately that road is fenced off just before you reach the circle at the end. :(

Based on 30+ years of spotting at Niagara there is not a great spot especially because it is the airshow weekend with increased traffic and security. Haseley is all private property and getting close is probably not possible and if so I don't thing you will be there long before you get a visit by the local PD or base SF. The aircraft ring is the training area fro the air base fire department and is on airport property. Hanging out on the approach lights to 28R is just asking for trouble not to mention that either side are a junk yard who is quick to call the police if someone is on the land or parked blocking the business. My best advice is to try Walmore Road until you get booted then go to Inducon. You can use Porter Road on the south side but it is a looooonnnnnggg way from the showline/runway 28R/10L.

A big time update for the statics. Also an L-39 added to the flying display. I will update the beginning of the thread with the new additions.

Looks like the C5M Galaxy has arrived and is a Travis AFB bird. According to some sources apparently SJ F-15E's arrived today as well.

Thanks for the updates Nick! One thing that I think airshows should really do (other then use social media for this), is to add an "arrived" status on aircraft listed on their website. It helps keep track of what listed has actually showed up or not.

I'm still debating on coming Saturday or Sunday. Sunday is definitely the better weather day, but I've seen Saturday's weather starting to improve (less chance of rain, just overcast). Keep the updates coming!

No problem Dan. Weather is looking nice for Saturday now! Showing 30% with some cloud cover; I'll take it. Planning on both show days!
