Thunder of Niagara's facebook page mentions there will be exciting announcements forthcoming for next year's show.

With the jet team schedules and ACC schedules being released next week at ICAS, it will definately be worth keeping an eye on!

Thunder of Niagara to include STEM Expo at 2018 show.

THUNDER OF NIAGARA AIR SHOW TO INCLUDE STEM EXPO

As part of the 2018 Thunder of Niagara Air Show, the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station will partner with the WNY STEM Hub and host a large STEM Expo. This 3 day STEM Expo will provide the DOD, the USAF, and the 914th Air Refueling Wing an opportunity to expose a significant number of students and young adults to STEM opportunities. Advancing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education is a strategic focus of the DoD.

Looking forward to attending this show as I will be in the area for a couple of weeks by coincidence. It will be my first time attending TONA and it will probably be the only east coast show of the season for me unfortunately.

Definitely in for a treat with the Raptor and Tbirds!

Anyone familiar with this show able to give a little run down of how the schedule for the day generally is?

Gates open at 9 and the show ends at 4. At least that's what their banner on facebook says lol. I would think flying starts between 10-11. I will keep an eye on this and let you know.

I appreciate it Dan, thanks. Couldn’t seem to find too much information on the website as of yet and it’s better to know everything while still in the planning stage and not at the arrival stage.

Just checked the ICAS website and they have added some more performers to the line-up.

Also, the Facebook page had some live videos today of Snowbird 10 flying into the Niagara Falls ARS for the site survey, as well as some videos from NECAS with interviews with Ric Peterson (announcer for this year's show) and Scott "Scooter" Yoak who will be performing at this year's show.
