Lol, well no sorry I don't know his name, but he's infamous for being at Cleveland practice every year and constantly talking, most of it being completely false information. Some of my favorite things he's told people include that there is a privately owned B-52 out west that you can buy rides on, and that there is no P-51Cs left flying... which he said WHILE the Red Tail P-51C was literally practicing in Cleveland.

I figured it had to be him based off your description haha.

That's funny, somehow I've never run into him but I did meet a guy in a flight suit once with all F-16 patches on saying he was part of the Strike Eagle demo team that was at the show. He talked all sorts of nonsense about it using F-15 and F-16 interchangeably. It was bizarre. After he left, someone told me the same guy impersonated an astronaut a few years earlier and NASA got involved or something. He had no camera so I doubt it was the same guy.

It's a good one! I look forward to Cleveland probably second most behind Oshkosh, mostly because of the nice times with friends downtown. It has been my season finale many times.
Wow... just logged in after a few years (my bad) cause my brother asked for help finding airshows where he lives. I live in Oshkosh now... but they aren't ready to come for EAA yet... gotta get 'em ready for that. :)
