- First F-35 went the length of the runaway and pulled out smoothly at the end. Second F-35 gave us a some burner action towards the end of the runaway. They are coming back around for another pass.

- Both noisy F-35's went the length of runway 9L/27R giving us beautiful contrails. It looks like the fun here has ended as they are on the ground.

- The F-35's are grounded and will be put away shortly.
That's a wrap for today I will be posting some pictures shortly. I am not sure if I am going to make it to the actual exercise tomorrow but if you are in the area you will be able to see the planes parked from the outside of the Coast Guard entrance. You should be able to hear the actual engine testing from anywhere near the airport grounds and same goes for departures.
Of course this isn't a public event so access to the actual airfield will be denied if you don't have the proper credentials.
Thanks.

Please excuse the quality of my pictures as they are taken from a 16 mega pixel camera on a phone with an attached magnifying lens so it makes the picture a bit grainy.

The weather this morning would have been perfect for some vape! It's too bad they didn't cut the birds loose.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any pictures of the Makos in the air but I actually got to walk up close to them and take these as they were pulling in.
