I was there yesterday. That was pretty interesting. Between the fires caused by the Tora Wall of Fire, the fireworks cooking off because of the fires, and one Zero having tail wheel issues (landed safely - it was pretty cool to see). The disappointing part was some of the afternoon acts didn't fly, including the Twin Tigers. I really wanted to see their act. Of course, I don't think I've ever been to an airshow where everything went perfectly.
I did finally get to see Matt Younkin's Beech 18 night show. It was really cool. No picture to post yet, but I should have some ready late today or tomorrow.

Sounds like a heck of a day! Did they end up doing anything with fireworks or pyro at night? I can't imagine they got a full show set up, but maybe something small?Ken91 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 07, 2018 3:09 pm I was there yesterday. That was pretty interesting. Ryan - actually, there weren't any fireworks and/or pyro during the night show. I believe all the fireworks ended up going off in the late afternoon/early evening. They did the second wall of fire, that was supposed to be after the fireworks, in order to clear out any of remaining pyro/fireworks.
Also, one of the Viper Demo Crew Chiefs mentioned to us that the may be going to Lakeland for Sun-N-Fun. Of course, that's confirmed now.Hoping to post a few pictures in a little while.

With the exception of the C-5 cancelling on us and the "early fireworks" friday it was one of the best shows we've had in several years. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the Valiant Air Command.
