Baltic Bees 2018 schedule

Post by Adam » Sat Jun 02, 2018 8:33 am

This was released about ten days ago, but I missed it. I assume many of these shows are for longer than the dates on the official schedule specifies (eg. the schedule lists Radom for Aug 25 only, but I imagine they will stay on for the second day). The Baltic Bees fly six L-39s and are based in Latvia. They are the first large civilian aerobatic team to make significent headway in eastern Europe and central Asia - well done to them. Large shows highlighted in bold.

Apr 4: Independence Day, Dakar, Senegal (2-ship only)
Jun 3: Jun 3: Bellaria Igea Marina Airshow, Rimini, Italy
Jun 10: AEROSouth Air Show and Exhibition, Maribor, Slovenia
Jun 10: Čakovec Airshow, Čakovec, Croatia
Jun 17: Tukums, Latvia
Jun 29: Kavala AirSea Show, Kavala, Greece
Jul 6: Day of the Capital, Astana, Kazakhstan
Jul 14: 85th Anniversary Lituanica's transatlatic flight, Kaunas, Lithuania
Jul 21: Air Show Ādaži, Ādaži, Latvia
Jul 28: Podkarpackie Pokazy Lotnicze, Mielec, Poland
Aug 4: Wings over Baltics Airshow, Jūrmala, Latvia
Aug 10: Flygfesten Dala-Järna, Vansbro, Sweden
Aug 11: AeroBaltic, Gdynia, Poland
Aug 25: Radom Airshow - Polish Air Force 100th anniversary, Radom, Poland
Sep 1: Czech International Air Fest, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic

Sep 8: Air Show Grudziądz, Grudziądz, Poland
Sep 15: Szegedi Repülőnapok & Légiparádé, Szeged, Hungary
Sep 22: Chisinau International Airshow, Chisinau, Moldova
Nov 12: Iran Airshow, Kish, Iran*

*Not sure about the dates for this one. Baltic Bees say Nov 12, the official site gave dates one week later and has now been changed to Nov 26-29. Who knows what's being planned...

The Baltic Bees are actively looking to recruit a seventh pilot so it will be good to hopefully see a 7-ship in the foreseeable future.
