F-22 Demo Team will be joining this event too. :o
Sadly the Blues will not be participating any longer. The Thunderbirds posted an announcement this evening:
**NYC Flyover Update**

Due to operational requirements, the U.S. Blue Angels will not be able to participate in the Hudson aerial parade on Thursday, August 22nd. However, we are excited to announce that the F-22 Raptor Demo Team will be joining the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team for this epic aerial display of teamwork and airmanship. See you soon New York!

The New York Airshow Facebook page has some nice video from WPIX Channel 11 of the fly over.

The jets flew very high. Not sure why they flew so high. I have seen Hudson River fly overs that were much closer to the ground.

As mentioned earlier, Blue Angels were not able to participate.

I think the Blue Angels have been doing extra practices since 2 jets touched each other at a Pensacola practice on Wednesday.

Pretty amazing to see all those jets together. The skies were not the clearest (hazy) and they flew really high.

I was standing out on Pier 25 on the Hudson for some of these photos.

Airshow Facebook page posted video.

Looks like 2 Swamp Fox F-16's from South Carolina ANG will be there. Hope they brought some swag to sell. Their squadron items are very nice.

The VT ANG F-16's were previously regulars at the show, but they just turned in their last F-16's recently in preparation for their F-35's they are supposed to get at the end of the year.

2 Barnes F-15's from 104 FW will also be there.

2 Davis Monthan A-10's will also be there.

Nice static line-up.
