Sadly the USN F/A-18s and the Lithuanian Mi-8 have cancelled for operational reasons.

Two civilian acts have been unveiled - The Blades Aerobatic Team and a Pitts S2S Special flown by Rich Goodwin.

The Royal Navy International Air Day brought together an incredible line up of military and civilian operated aircraft for one of the most varied displays of the summer. There were several stand out moment including the public flying display debut of Historic Helicopters Westland Wessex, the UK debut of the Breguet Alize in civilian operation, the return of Harriers to Somerset thanks to the Spanish Navy and another UK debut for the Hellenic Air Force Daedalus T-6 Solo. Air Day 2019 also marked the first appearance at the event of a F-35B Lightning which brings back the carrier strike role back to the Royal Navy. A full review will can be found here.
