There's a new marketing firm this year. They had it better with me for free... tsk tsk

Just heard an overly long ASL audio-ad on the most recent episode of the Fighter Pilot Podcast.
So very cringe...

Appreciate it, Nick! This is Corey Betke btw. Just hoping they land 33 even though it will become backlit but there’s less chance of trouble.Chuter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 2:43 pmWhen arrivals are using RWY33, usually cops don't have an issue. Just respect the area. Lots of people over the years have thrown the trash everywhere and it doesn't go well for those who are truly there for aircraft and respect the grounds.
For RWY15, Robins Hill Rd is a major roadway out of London and is way busier. Traffic stopped on the sides of the roads pose a much higher safety concern and usually have a higher Police presence. I can't speak much over the last couple years to people being booted since I've been inside the fences. I think Robins Hill Rd is certainly tighter.

How about Creamery Rod on the other end, is that still open for access to park on the side for 33 ops?
There is also that side road leading to some houses but I don't know if those are considered private or the owners are cool with spotters using that.

Tons of people there on departure day and did see some photos from people who were there last year on Thursday. Multiple pull offs so as long as you’re off the road you should be fine. I believe that road does get closed off Friday-Sunday.

With Hurricane Dorian taking aim at Florida and the SouthEastern parts of the US, I'm preparing for some cancellations so assets can be tasked for clean-up, search and rescuse etc.

I agree Dan, the storm would likely cause more than a few assets lost for the show. Holding out until next week to decide what ticket package to purchase as we wait for details of Dorian.

Park off to the skide, respect the area and Creamery is fine. It will be closed off for Practice and the Airshow Friday and of course Sat/Sun. Thursday is open and so is Monday departures. Partially on Friday it's open but it will be closed late morning most likely.

Was thinking the same. Could also think positive by knowing there's a lot of Florida based aircraft up here now as well. I'm thinking if a cancellation does roll threw USCG will be first to goDan Gagnon wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 1:33 pm With Hurricane Dorian taking aim at Florida and the SouthEastern parts of the US, I'm preparing for some cancellations so assets can be tasked for clean-up, search and rescuse etc.
