If I attend this show, it looks like I will be making a 1 day trip from Northwest Indiana, and then back home when the show gets done.

In 2016, there was a liquid restriction, where you were not allowed to bring any liquids on to the base. Is this restriction still in place this year?

I also saw on a facebook post, the flying will begin at 11am instead of 12 noon, as originally mentioned.

That restriction is still in place. The air show is free... fair trade (in my opinion).

Yes, as pointed out, the restriction is still in place. But, not all is lost. @SoundOfFreedom alluded to the free parking & admission, which is an absolutely great trade-off, but feel free to bring an empty water bottle too. There will be a water fill station available for those that would like to fill up!

Anyone coming down to Parkview Field tonight for the Welcome Party, note that a large crowd is expected. Gates will open at 5 PM. The night will include the opportunity to meet the USAF Thunderbirds, a few flyovers and performances, A-10 Flyover from the Black Snakes and Live Music headlined by Mason Dixon Line. The US Special Ops Paracommandos will also parachute in to the stadium to help honor WWII Veterans for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.

Weather forecast looks to be improving for Sunday with storms now planning to come later in the day. Should be a beautiful weekend starting with rehearsal day today!

I was driving through Fort Wayne this afternoon on my way back from vacation and happened to see the F-100, an A-10 and P-51 flying around. The F-100 came almost directly over me on 469 twice! Sweet! Hope the rest of the show went well.

It was a GREAT Show. Some miner issues with lack of signage on where to turn in to the south parking lot on Saturday. LARGE traffic issues when the show was over. We had to get permission to walk though the base to avoid the line for the buses that were taking people to the north lots.
