Hey everyone, just wanted to show my appreciation for everyone on this site and in particular this thread. I live here in Oshkosh but my schedule never lets me get down there. Been visiting the forums the last few years and I love seeing all the pictures and videos that get posted.

Thanks for everything you do!

For anyone wanting to follow along at home (or stay current while at the show), this post has some good links to stay on top of the action. OF course, being here on the forums is a great start!

Get ready for some insane arrivals tomorrow! The rain has soaked the grass and after the huge storm that came through, they closed all grass parking for aircraft. Combined with the storms sweeping across much of the area, there should be a ton of people trying to make it in tomorrow. I ended up in Fond Du Lac watching some of the diversions come in. I plan to be out at runway 9/27 in the morning then 18/36 in the late afternoon.

As mentioned, I tried my luck at Fond Du Lac hoping to get some decent traffic from diversions. It wasn't super busy, but better than no airplanes I suppose. I wonder if I would have been better off watching the few arrivals in Oshkosh, but that was part of the gamble.

The F22 demo team should arrive at 4PM tomorrow. Sent their instagram account a message and that's what they said.

Anyone who wants to meet up - I plan to be next to the photo stand in front of the hangar cafe tomorrow around 1:30pm. We'll do it again later in the week for anyone who can't make it.
