There'll probably be several dozen Skyhawks at Oshkosh. Cessna 172s are among the most popular visitors of the place, so the EAA will be really pleased with this news.Airplanefreak2000 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 4:29 pm CWHM will be bringing their Dakota and canso to Oshkosh! I’d say you’re lowballing several dozen.XL446 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:16 pmThere'll probably be several dozen Skyhawks at Oshkosh. I agree, I see at least a couple 172s every year and they always have a crowd around themXL446 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:16 pmThere'll probably be several dozen Skyhawks at Oshkosh. I don't "know", but should be 5-6.
Thanks! With that knowledge I think I will make the Thunder show. I'd kick myself if this was one of the last good gatherings of Corsairs, and didn't go!GRNDP51 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 10:17 pmI don't "know", but should be 5-6.
Marines Dream, CAF Dixie Wing, Korean War Hero pretty much confirmed
Wings of the North, more than likely?
Godspeed, Horschel, or Yagen? - All are close, but don't fly TONS like some others
Fighters and Legends - Usually pretty active, but haven't seen much of it this year
Collings - Probably not as they are sending the Hellcat
The rest that will be at Thunder I'm 99% sure won't be going to Oshkosh
