2nd Day
I am wondering if there is a 2 day air show are they actually in the air on the 2nd day or is it just the expo on that day.

The vast majority of US airshows have two public days (Saturday and Sunday) which are generally the same in terms of schedule and performances. You could go either day and see the same thing.
Thursday and Friday are typically private or semi-public "practice" days where many of the performers fly their normal routine but no tickets are sold. Most of the aircraft going on ground display fly in during these days.
I'm not familiar with the KC show in particular.
