Thailand To Introduce International Airshow In 2025

Already covered on this thread back when they said it would start in 2023, except now it's without the crucial support of Farnborough International:

And before that, they said it would start in 2022.
Meanwhile this article published on the exact same day as the one giving a 2025 start date says it will begin in 2027:

I'm not convinced this will ever happen, and if it does happen, it won't be very good and probably won't last. Thailand doesn't need a trade show, because they're not buying or selling anything, they're not a huge international business hub like Singapore and Hong Kong, and there are already too many trade shows in the region which all have a stronger justification for existing, the closest of which is just 10 miles outside their borders. Like the other unnecessary copycat events in Indonesia and Brunei, I don't imagine anyone will notice when this show quietly takes place, and I also don't imagine anyone will notice when it's quietly abandoned a few years later.
