There are no F-5s listed to fly in the schedule either day.

I will be happily surprised to see them if they do happen to go up.

Fair point, I have seen a more detailed schedule but looking at it again it only indicates *an* F-5, likely part of the MAGTF. I was typing off the cuff and thinking it had said F-5s plural. I'll retract my previous statement  BUT I do still think that one will fly and hopefully you end up getting more than one! They were great to see last year.

Screwed up my F-5 taxi shots last year as they were right after the Osprey. Would like another shot at them. Hope you're right!

I am not going sadly. You mean virus concerns? I don't have any but I'm pretty sure we'll all get it at some point so it isn't really a factor in my personal thinking. I am actively planning a pote tial trip to Red Flag just the week after.

Any chance you have the detailed schedule to post? I saw the one on their twitter that was a little more detailed than the site, but no F-5 on that...

Sorry, I promised not to share it. You know I would if I could! I did see the schedule you mentioned online and the timing seems off from what I saw before. It may be that they are keeping the F-5 secret (so it can ambush the good guys?) or it may have been scrubbed.

We should clarify this. Anyone who purchased tickets or has normal base access can still attend.

Friends and Followers,
Based on recent updates concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma has made the determination in the best interest of the community and base personnel to close the 2020 Airshow to the public. If you have purchased tickets to the grandstands, parking passes, chalets, VIP passes or a holder of a Common Access Card or base access you can still attend the airshow. Continue to follow us on social media for more information regarding the 2020 MCAS Yuma Airshow.

Just kidding! Yuma has now fully canceled their show to everyone. How horribly confusing.
Good morning everyone,

Per the CO of MCAS Yuma, and due to the COVID-19 concerns and safety of the public, we will be cancelling the entire Airshow (both days) to both the general public and those who have purchased tickets.

Full refunds will be issued from the ticketing site starting on March 16th, 2020 to those who have purchased upgraded seating and upgraded parking.

If you have any additional questions, please be sure to contact our CommStrat office MCAS Yuma.

We are saddened that we have to cancel our favorite event of the year, but want to reiterate that safety is our number one priority.

Thank you.
