After careful consideration, the ROKAF has decided to not participate in the 『Singapore Airshow 2020 (Feb. 11-16)』.
The decision was made as part of a government-wide effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection and as part of a preemptive measure to ensure the safety of our military personnel.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to both domestic and international fans who supported us and looked forward to our participation in the Singapore Airshow.

US military brings aerial demonstrations, static aircraft to Singapore Airshow 2020

U.S. military aircraft will participate in the Singapore Airshow 2020 with aerial demonstrations and static displays at Changi Air Base (East), Republic of Singapore Feb. 11-16.

SA2020 is the largest defense exhibition and biennial international tradeshow in the Pacific.

A cross section of U.S. military members and aircraft will participate in the weeklong event, to include:
A C-17 Globemaster III from the 15th Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii
F-22 Raptors from the 154th Wing, JBPHH
An E-3 Sentry from the 18th Wing, Kadena Air Base, Japan

This year’s exhibition will be the seventh iteration since its inception in 1996.

Through participation in airshows and regional events, the U.S. demonstrates its commitment to the security of the Indo-Pacific region, promotes interoperability, displays the flexible combat capabilities of the U.S. military, and creates lasting relationship with international audiences to strengthen the bonds that support partnership building throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
SA2020 will be open to the public Feb. 15-16.

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China’s air force will participate in the upcoming Singapore Airshow, the country’s defence ministry said on Wednesday, at a time when concerns over the spread of a virus from China are overshadowing Asia’s biggest aerospace and defence event.
China’s defence ministry said in a post on its official WeChat account that its air force had been invited by Singapore to take part in the airshow between Feb 5-18, adding that it would nine aircraft and more than 100 personnel.

Singapore, 6 February 2020 – Airbus will participate at the upcoming Singapore Airshow, showcasing its latest products, services and innovations in the commercial aircraft, defence, space and helicopter segments. The show takes place at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore, 11-16 February.
The Airbus exhibit in the main hall [Stand #J23] will feature products from across the Airbus Family product range, including large scale models of the long range A350-1000, the A400M military airlifter and the H160 helicopter, as well as S450, an earth observation satellite platform.
An area of the stand will be dedicated to Airbus’ latest innovations designed to build a sustainable future of flight. These include a model of the E-Fan X hybrid-electric demonstrator and for the first time a model of MAVERIC, a new flying demonstrator, with a disruptive aircraft configuration.
In addition, visitors can learn more about the latest Airbus Services solutions being brought to market. These include Skywise, Airbus’ open data platform of reference for all major aviation players looking to improve their operational performance, and a demo of the newly unveiled Airbus Virtual Reality Flight Trainer.
From the military product line, an A400M operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force, will be on display. This latest generation, multi-role aircraft, offers unmatched versatility on military and humanitarian missions around the globe. The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will also display one of its newly acquired A330 MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) aircraft which offers capabilities that include refuelling missions, transport and deployment.
Airbus will also be present at the air show organiser’s “What’s Next” booth, with Ambee and Scapic, two start-ups from the company’s Bizlab in Bangalore, pitching their products and services.
