Ohio and Pennsylvania will get flyovers from a couple C-130s from Youngstown ARB on Monday, May 4th. No map yet
Crews plan to take off from the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna on Monday to launch “Hercs over America”.

The Cleveland VA Hospital
University Hospital Ahuja Medical Center – Beachwood
University Hospital Cleveland Main Campus
Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital
Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
Metro Health – Cleveland
Fairview Hospital - Cleveland.
The C-130s will then head to Akron Children's Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio and then on to Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.

I find it interesting that specific times and routes are provided for all of these flyovers. I get why and support it, but it's curious after years and years of airshows and other aerial events telling us they can't release specific information "for security reasons." Want to know when the <jet team> is practicing at an airshow? Nope, sorry, security. Again, don't take this the wrong way. I get why they're doing it now, and understand the thinking behind the denials for the other times...

This won't come as a shock to many, but those reasons were always bullshit. Plenty of shows release specific times or at least roundabout times.

Similarly, one item that is being tossed out to get at least some shows in this year is a 'drive in airshow' where people park across the ramp. Sure would torpedo all of that 'can't bring coolers for security' if you can bring an entire car onto the airport...
