The Blue Angels (doesn't appear to be Thunderbirds involved with this one) are headed to Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and New Orleans for flyovers on Wednesday May 6th! The Thunderbirds are reportedly headed back to Nellis today so the teams will likely be hitting separate cities now.

This is also the first departure from the cities on the original leaked list. Texas was supposed to see a combined flyover at the end of the campaign. It seems we will have to go forward with no firm idea of what to expect.

Hoping for a Metro Detroit flyover soon! If not the Blue Angels and/or Thunderbirds, hopefully Selfridge will put something together!

Statement from the Thunderbirds. They are heading home to Nellis today and the teams will conduct separate flyovers in order to cover more of the country.

Since the Blue Angels are hitting Texas this week (which was the last joint flyover on the original list), there may not be any further joint flyovers
The Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels will continue to honor front line COVID-19 responders and essential workers with individual team flyovers in support of America Strong.

The Thunderbirds will return to Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada today; and will announce their first individual flyover in the coming days.

There are no additional joint flyovers planned at this time.

The Blue Angels’ first individual flyover will be flown over Dallas/Forth Worth, Houston and New Orleans on Wednesday, May 6th. The Thunderbirds will NOT accompany the Blue Angels for this flyover.

Stay tuned here for updates on the Thunderbirds’ first individual team flyover! #AmericaStrong
