A-10 Demo Team Will Sport A Special Paint Scheme In 2020

Post by RyanS » Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:31 pm

The A-10 Demo Team will be flying a specially painted A-10 at shows next year. This has been on the DL for a little while but they shared a teaser clip of the painting today so we should be getting more details soon.

The Selfridge A-10 is one of the best looking aircraft I've ever seen (sadly I've only seen it in person twice) so hopefully this comes close to that. If nothing else it's awesome to have something different to shoot!

In other news, the A-10 is now allowed to fly on the Cat II (1,000 foot) show line!

Video of the painting and the completed scheme. Seeing some mixed reactions but it's better than an all gray jet!

Turns out the jet is hitting the show circuit for the end of this season - starting this weekend!

Those wondering why they chose a Mustang inspiration instead of a Thunderbolt will find the answer in our latest blog post:
