Something I noticed about these pictures - it looks like Lt. Andre “Dre” Webb is no longer with the team. He was due to transition to the lead solo position this year. It looks like Lt. Brandon “Biggs” Hempler is still #5. Comments on YouTube say Webb has returned to the fleet for private reasons.

Yep, Dre is off the team and Hempler is sticking around for an extra year. Obviously this was kept fairly quiet. Dre was not with the team at the end of the season either.

Whatever it is, I hope it works out for him!

Perhaps a special crest to celebrate the 33 years of flying the Legacy Hornet or an early look into the new crest with the Super Hornets?

The Chippewa Valley Air Show organizers announced on their facebook page that they'll be the first show of the season for the Blue Angels' new "Fat Albert" C-130.
