Coordinating the countless moving parts of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is a challenge in the best of times, but coming back from 2020’s COVID-caused cancellation raises expectations regarding health and safety measures in planning this year’s event on July 26-August 1.

More on the "two airshow centers" idea. I don't think it's going to disperse people the way they think it will. I imagine most people are going to want to be at or around the real airshow center for the more significant acts. It's an interesting idea though and I'll go into it with an open mind.

I completely agree; if the main stuff is still using the full show line, I doubt very many will care about the double box. That's not a complaint - clearly EAA is trying to do something and I certainly don't have any better ideas. Frankly I'm glad I won't have to try to cover two totally separate show lines, especially since they say the acts will be swapped to the opposite box at other times. Maybe this is a good solution to flippie overload - they can get double the number of sponsor-driven act slots and give more time to the warbirds and unique showcases. That would be an immense improvement to me.kalamazookid wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 9:00 pm More on the "two airshow centers" idea. Got an email from EAA today providing an option to receive wrist bands through the mail in advance. I assume they're trying to cut down on possible contact points and lines. Nice option to have.

The Samaritan’s Purse Douglas DC-8, which has flown medical personnel and other relief workers, as well as tons of food, medicine, and supplies to aid victims of natural disasters, war, famine, and other emergencies around the globe, will be featured at the 2021 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

Does anymore have a list of the military jets that will be attending EAA this year? I saw that the F-16 Demo will be attending...

The F-22 was supposed to be in Milwaukee on the 24th and 25th. That show has been put "on hold." If it doesn't go on, maybe the Raptor can make an appearance early in the week at EAA?
