EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021 will feature expanded warbird flying activities as the annual Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in convention commemorates the 75th anniversary (plus one) since the end of World War II.

I really wish some p-38s and p-47s would show. You rarely see them at Oshkosh and I don’t understand why.

Pretty simple actually as most of the 38's and 47's are in the west or Texas. OSH doesn't pay owners to show up so there's no point in bringing those planes 1000+ miles without some sort of compensation anymore.

Per the Fagen Fighters Facebook page, Fagen Fighters is planning to send its new F6F Hellcat restoration "Death N' Destruction" to Oshkosh, where it will participate in Warbirds in Review with Evan Fagen and World War II Navy ace Donald M. McPherson. More information on the Hellcat here:
