I'm planning to go to Atlantic City NJ next week. Tuesday is the practice session. Does anyone know where the Thunderbirds take off from? And is there any access to the area?

Hi Marc! I moved your post to the thread for the Atlantic City show where you might find more useful info.

The Thunderbirds take off from Atlantic City Intl Airport. I have never been so not sure if there is good access nearby.

From what I've heard, spotting at Atlantic City International is very difficult. Security is very tight with Police patrols constant.

Unless you have some good connections, I suggest to enjoy the show from the Boardwalk and pick-up some 177 FW and F-22 Demo swag.

NJ TRANSIT will operate additional rail service on the Atlantic City Rail Line (ACRL) to/from the Atlantic City Airshow "A Salute to Those Who Serve" on Wed, Aug. 18. The extra service will serve Philly's 30th Street Station. Read more: http://ow.ly/gRQN50FQ8Yo
