Since the CNE has been cancelled again for this year, I expect this airshow will also soon be cancelled as well.

From the e-mail I received from CIAS:

The Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) is thrilled to announce our show will be returning to the skies over Lake Ontario in 2021!

It took a team effort to achieve this goal and we would like to thank our presenting sponsor Lockheed Martin, the Ontario Government, and the City of Toronto for their tireless hard work in making this year's show possible.

Our 2021 Show will be held on Saturday September 4 and Sunday September 5 from 12:00pm-3:00pm. We’re excited to showcase the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and CF-18, United States Air Force F35, a P-51 Mustang and more to be announced soon.

To respect current social distancing guidelines, we will NOT have our ticketed Exclusive Airshow Zone in 2021. Instead, we will stream our narration live for free as a thank you to all Canadians for the sacrifices they have made during the past 18 months.

We ask attendees to follow current COVID guidelines. There is 14 kms of public viewing space between the Humber Bridge and the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to accommodate social distancing. Parking is available at the Exhibition Place and Ontario Place, or you can take public transit. We will provide more information on the free online narration, updates on our performers and other important information as it becomes available.

We look forward to seeing you from the skies above Toronto again this year and thank you for your ongoing support of the CIAS!

Sincerely,

- Your Canadian International Air Show Insider
