I also remember a Facebook post of theirs when they announced the theme, they said no Thunderbirds or Blue Angels!

I won't blame them for grabbing the Tbirds once they were available. Anything to keep the show and museum afloat is great in my books!

This is the airshow I most expected to pivot to a drive-in format. I'm absolutely open to going to a drive-in show and was expecting to go to at least one this year, but having to choose between a different morning/afternoon lineup or pay that price for both doesn't sound even remotely appealing. It sounds like they're offering a less than complete lineup twice per day just so they can charge people twice. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I am not encouraged but what has been posted here so far and I hope the official news is better than that.
If it comes down to deciding, I'd much rather see the F-35 than the Thunderbirds - provided everything else that is advertised is going to fly.

Only living 5 minutes away, almost forces me to attend, but the price for half a show is utterly insane and I am not paying $160 for around a 2 hour show. Members received an email outlining the pricing. There is a 48 hour window for member exclusive discounted pricing before tickets go to their full price of "$165-$185". I assume the Thunderbirds would be the more expensive option.

Totally agree. A full drive-in show really wouldn't be an issue especially this year, but having two sessions strikes me as a lose-lose situation. The tickets are still going to be too expensive for casual fans who just want to see some jets, but the hardcore people aren't going to be interested in just a half day event. I guess Michael Luther is still active on WIX which might bring back some hope of any warbirds or Mitchell Madness, but he announced Jim Tobul's F4U-4 Corsair.
