What a great opportunity to have the Blues and TBirds fly back to back, with proper morning light too!

I live by Selfridge, the Growler just came in to land and the Thunderbirds just took off for Willow Run.

EDIT- Looks like I misspoke. F35 just came by overhead so that may have been what I heard. I’m Northwest of the runway so I mainly catch landings.

I heard "Lady Luck" made it in. That must be one of the surprise B-25s.

A few updates here…

There’s one of two surprises already on site at Willow Run - Tom Reilly’s ‘Killer B’ the second one I will keep secret.

Two more unfortunate mechanical drops, Betty’s Dream and Berlin Express won’t be making it.

Looking like 14 possibly 15 B-25’s this weekend.

PMed the freq.

Watched the morning from the Tyler road field - not a bad spot. During the break I went into the grounds and sat in the photo pit the rest of the day.

The camo A-10 stayed home - two gray jets. Two Texan IIs, Moonbeam, and the Corsair arrived in the evening, along with many B-25s. No real sunset because a band of rain and storms is moving this way overnight.

Very frustrated by the 7am gate opening. Not a fun way to start the day....lol

Weather is not lookin too good for tommorow... but who knows, it's Michigan

I was all over the place today, first I went to Tyler Rd, then I moved closer to the ramp to see who arrived, that tried ecorse area.

Also ended up driving to Henry Ford Museum to see the pilots. Long Day
