The Hillsboro Airshow has been postponed to May of 2022.
To our Air Show fans,

The 2021 air show scheduled for the Hillsboro Airport has been postponed due to concerns related to COVID-19 and will be rescheduled to May of 2022 (dates to be finalized shortly). The show was originally scheduled for May 21-23, 2021.

While we believe the environment for live outdoor events will be much better by May, we want to exercise an abundance of caution to provide the safest environment possible for our guests, performers, volunteers and everyone in the community. So we believe the best decision at this time is to postpone this year’s Hillsboro show. We did make efforts to move the Hillsboro show to later dates in 2021, but were unsuccessful in finding dates that worked.

As announced earlier this year, the 2021 show in Hillsboro was set to feature one of the world’s first-ever all-female air shows where all the performers, announcers, and even the air boss would be female. The intent of the show organizers is to continue with this theme in 2022.

Tickets already purchased for the 2021 Hillsboro show will be transferred automatically to the show’s new dates and customers do not need to do anything for that to happen. If they prefer, customers may request to transfer their tickets to the 2021 McMinnville show or be issued a refund for the Hillsboro show by going to www.oregonairshow.com.

*Our show at McMinnville Airport - scheduled for July 30-Aug. 1, 2021 and featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor - remains on as scheduled.

This actually somewhat puzzles me, can even configure how the McMinnville show is just only a month earlier, I'm going to guess its either the company has a tight-knit budget issue or likely concerns they just could not bring themselves pull off an airshow this year.
