I think I'm going to head down for this next weekend since I haven't seen the camo A-10 yet. Here's some recent press:

https://roblawnews.com/roblaw/news/airs ... -25-211301

Mentioned are the A-10, Scott Yoak, a TBM Avenger, Ladies for Liberty, the Misty Blues and Dacy performers (not specified). Doug Dodge obviously won't be one of them since he passed away in March. I also find it highly unlikely that the listing on the ICAS Calendar that shows warbirds from Erickson is accurate since they did not come East for Air Expo, Oshkosh, TOM, etc. this year and I doubt they're coming this far for one event. Stranger things have happened though.

Interested to check out an event that will be new for me!

Just going to leave a quick review for anyone who might consider going tomorrow. Be aware that "Quicksilver" isn't there - I'm not sure if it just got dropped from the lineup or whether Scooter had to drop out for some reason.

For an airshow that is in the middle of nowhere and hard to find much information on, this was a fun day. I like these small airport events where the focus is on getting the community out and flying what's there without a bunch of extra bells and whistles. The main reason I went was to see the camo A-10, which was the highlight for me. The A-10 is the perfect demo for a small airshow like this and the best way to see the A-10 in my opinion. Also got to see a TBM Avenger that I hadn't seen before.

Lineup:
Misty Blues
Susan Dacy - Super Stearman
Erik Edgren - T-Clips Comedy Act
TBM Avengers (2)
JP Mellor - T-6 Acro
Mike Vaknin - Extra 300
Erik Edgren - Taylorcraft Dead Stick
Misty Blues - jump from TBM Avengers (that was a first!)
A-10 Demo

If you're into photography, be prepared to be shooting directly into the sun. By the time the A-10 flew the sun was in the worst possible spot for photos. Most of my pictures of it in the air are just an A-10 silhouette.

There was a great turnout and strong support from the community. It sounds like they are planning to keep this going every other year, so the next event should be in 2023.

This is about all I could get of the A-10 - dirty pass and setting up behind the crowd for the dedication pass.

And the TBMs. In the last view, you can see one of the Misty Blues in the open door of the Avenger.

Forgot this one - an interesting scheme on this 459th FTS T-6 Texan II from Sheppard AFB. It pays tribute to a P-38 of the 459th FS stationed in Burma during WWII.
