2020/2021 is the 100th Anniversary of the 133rd Airlift Wing of the Minnesota National Guard (based at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport).

Right now, COVID pending, the 100th Centennial Airshow will take place July 17th-18th, 2021 at MSP and will feature the largest air show ever held at MSP. In addition, a commemorative hangar dance will be held on the evening of July 16th.

The airshow will be open and free to the public.

Was just coming on here to announce. Just wasn’t meant to be this year, sadly. The centennial will be scaled back quite a bit (most of the other plans remain in place) and we’ll see what happens with COVID otherwise.

The event will return eventually, maybe we can call it the “Centennial+3 Open House”
