The U.S. Army Special Operations Command Black Daggers Parachute Team will be in attendance for Thunder Over the Heartland 2021. In addition to the 190th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotankers, additional military appearances are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team & U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight, we are anticipating a wide variety of additional U.S. military aircraft to support and will have more to announce in the coming weeks. Latest confirmations include...

• A HC-130J Combat King II from Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona and the 79th Rescue Squadron, 355th Wing, which will serve as one of the jump platforms for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Black Daggers Parachute Team.

• A C-17 Globemaster III from March ARB, California and the 452nd Air Mobility Wing for static display.

• A Vietnam Search & Rescue (SAR) Demonstration featuring the American Flight Museum's AC-47 Spooky gunship and other aircraft from the era (to be determined).

• A Reno Air Race Exhibition featuring a variety of unlimited-style and standard class warbird race aircraft, featuring the Goodyear F2G Super Corsair.

The event will also feature a night air show Saturday evening over the 2021 Country Stampede music festival to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.

Shockwave Jet Truck will be bringing the heat to this year's Thunder Over The Heartland.

This show is getting a ton of buzz lately because of the amazing military flybys and static displays, plus the warbird lineup. If it wasn't so far away I'd certainly love to attend myself!
