Now to come to the thought of VFA-122, attempting to recall the last time I witnessed them was back in 2011 at Miramar, since the demo team has returned for whatever factors that brought them back in session, I have some high hopes they'll back at Miramar this year, in the past records, they logged performances at few of the shows over the past years.

I expect it will be flying a Legacy Flight given that announcement, but it most certainly has been on the airshow circuit before. I hate shows that just blatantly lie in their marketing, that's all.

Lots of shows are having the Growler do a legacy flight, and "mini" demo. I assume the demo part is just a few passes, but it could evolve into something a little more 'exciting'. Airshows that lie like that get on my nerves because all that they care about is themselves and the money when they overhype normal performances.

In addition to the F-35C and EA-18G, the Great Tennessee Airshow will get more Naval airpower in the form of an F/A-18 Super Hornet from the West Coast Rhino Demo Team. Who's ready to feel the need for speed?! :D
The F-18 SUPER HORNET DEMO IS COMING SMYRNA!
(we're so excited, we had to shout it 😆)

The Demo Pilots stopped by Smyrna today on their way from Key West to N.A.S. Lemoore. We can't wait to welcome them back in June!

Tickets are available online only - June 5 & 6

Holy crap, all three Navy teams at one show? That's probably a quarter of their budget for the year!!
