NAS JRB New Orleans Air Show 2022

Great photos, Aaron! I was there too. This show really brought the jet noise and the weather cooperated. I am so glad I made the trip.

This year's airshow marked the last time that the public would see the F/A-18 Hornets from VFA-204 as they're going to transition to F-5 Tiger II and be re-designated VFC-204 this coming October.

yes! This was the entire reason why I went to this show. It's getting very sad that we keep losing types that some of us grew up around. I was around legacy hornets a lot and this really felt like an awesome goodbye to it the way the River Rattlers tore it up during their performance. Enjoy the airplanes we have now as you'll never know when it'll be the last time you see it fly!
