Hoping for a more complete list of acts/statics soon. I tentatively have a hotel booked but it's hard to justify the trip without more concrete info. Going to have to put in for time off soon if this trip is going to happen. The possibility of seeing a lot of Viper action in one place is appealing. Would love to see a combined arms demo like 2012, which featured F-16s, F-15Es and A-10s. Something similar would get me down there again.

From what I have seen in past years they do not release a lot ahead of time. It would be awesome if they could do the combined arms demo again as they were popping mad flares last time. Usually they will have some color bird wing commander Vipers on static, hoping for the Shooters checkertail.

Looks like a bunch of new acts have been posted:

RJ Gritter
B-25 Mitchell "Panchito"
CAF Airbase Georgia (doesn't list which aircraft)
Full Throttle Airshows
Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car

Decent static list so far too.

Schedule has been posted:

1045 - Black Daggers
1056 - Aeroshell T-6 Flag Jumper
1102 - Smoke N' Thunder Jet Car Run
1112- RJ Gritter - J3 Flying Farmer Demo
1125 - Jerry Conley - DeHavilland Vampire Demo
1139 - ACC Airpower Demo
1210 - B-25 Panchito Demo
1222 - Scott Francis MXS
1236 - Full Throttle Airshows
1257 - RJ Gritter Decathlon
1310 - F-16 Viper Demo/P-51 Heritage Flight
1338 - Airbase Georgia F4U Corsair Demo
1350 - Randy Ball MiG-17 Demo
1403 - Aeroshell
1417 - Smoke N' Thunder Jet Car Race
1428 - Commemorative Air Force P-40 Demo
1441 - Runway Check
1500 - Thunderbirds

I've already had four shows knocked off my possible list later in the year (two to cancellations, two to other reasons) so, despite the cost of travel right now, I'll probably go. They have a solid mix of modern airpower, vintage jets and warbirds booked.

Keeping an eye on the weather. Looks like there might be storms. Sucks, the Sunday show of the last event got rained out.

Also, good luck finding a hotel if you haven’t already!

Hopefully it past right on through on Thursday or Friday.

Weather already updated. Moved up. Saturday and Sunday look good. I’ll be there both days at it’s only a short two hour hop for me from CLT.

Just got here. Surprisingly cold this morning. Since I came from the east, they had me go through Sumter gate and park by the big water tower on the other side of the runways. It was about a 15 minute bus ride to the display area. Probably over an hour to walk. Getting out of here is probably gonna suck.

Anyway, got a good spot up front between two speakers. Looks like there are 2 SJ F-15Es for the ACC Demo as promised. Ready for a great weekend.
